We’re looking for a passionate Social Sustainability / Indigenous Engagement Officer to help drive diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives across ISS in South Australia and Western Australia. This role is about building strong connections with First Nations communities, diverse groups, and external partners — while supporting inclusive recruitment and engagement programs within our organisation.
What you’ll do
- Champion inclusion and belonging across our workforce by offering support and mentoring programs
- Support recruitment initiatives, job fairs and talent pipelines.
- Build strong relationships with First Nations leaders, elders, and community partners.
- Partner with local job providers and community groups to support employment of Placemakers from disadvantaged backgrounds
- Manage and report on Social Inclusion the Indigenous Participation Plan (IPP).
- Deliver engaging and inclusive onboarding experiences, support and mentoring.
What you’ll bring
- Experience working with First Nations or diverse communities (min. 1 year).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Community connections and strong stakeholder engagement
- HR-related qualifications (Degree/Diploma preferred).
- Passion for social inclusion and sustainable employment outcomes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel a must).
