We’re on the lookout for expressions of interest from self-motivated, detail-oriented, and resourceful Training and People Coordinators to join People and Culture team supporting the Operations Manager of our Aviation segment.

The primary focus of this role will be on supporting the training and accreditation process for aviation protection officers, working at airports and freight forwarding facilities. Secondary to this will be a element of People and Culture coordination within the previous mentioned areas.

This role is ideal for someone with previous experience within Aviation passenger screening or freight goods screening.
  

🛠 Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining the currency and accuracy of training files and electronic systems of all current employees
• Completion of compliance audits of all required training and qualifications
• Reporting of all non-compliances to the relevant operations manager
• Ensuring that all recurrent, assessment and Screener Accreditation activities are completed prior to expiry to maintain the operational capability of current screeners.
• Assist in conducting internal assessment, Screener Accreditation assessment and training activities.

✅ What You’ll Bring

• Experience in Aviation security both passenger screening and freight (this is to assist with coverage of LST Airport)
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 or TAE40116 or TAE40122) Or an equivalent level of qualifications
• Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (both international/ domestic and Freight)
• Ability to obtain and ASIC or be the current holder of an ASIC – Aviation Security ID Card
• Approved accreditor from Department of Home Affairs (or minimum of 12 months aviation experience for ability to obtain)
• High-level communication, coaching, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Tech-savvy with proficiency in MS Office and HRIS
• Exceptional organisation, discretion, and problem-solving capabilities
• Collaborative, empathetic, and adaptable team player

Desirable criteria

• People and Culture or relevant HR experience
